Well most people have misconception all bollywood movies are masala movies only, with actors going around trees, actress weeping till the glycerine finishes, villian always luring at heroine’s figure. But no, there had been always specific genere based movie in times and so had been the Murder Mystery (Suspense), whodunit kinda movies.
Not many might be aware but in 1962 itself, bollywood had its first blockbuster murder mystery movie – ‘Bees Saal Baad’. Till today, in most of the horror movies, its famous haunting song ‘Kahin Deep Jale, Kahin Dil’ is played.
Kumar has just returned from London to his “Haveli”, and he experiences many strange and creepy things around the house. He is told that his haveli is haunted by a spirit that is out to seek revenge on him-him being the last in his family still alive. The town believes this spirit has killed all of Kumar’s Uncles and Dada Ji’s, and now it’s his turn. Doors open and shut by itself, he hears a woman crying and telling him to leave the Haveli each night. He hears the sound of “ghungroos” from one place to the other. He has witnessed a lady figure singing-as she leads Kumar trailing behind her in the middle of his many nights?only to see her disappear. Kumar is a non-believer in spirits and ghosts and is determined to stay and reveal the person causing all this chaos.
There has to be a resonable explanation for all this?right?
Does Kumar have an enemy out to destroy him, or is this Haveli truly haunted?
Are you a believer or a non-believer?
