Note: will be posting the complete award show video.

A spectacular and electrifying show with star presenters, scintillating performances and classy sets is being readied. Conceptualised by Cineyug, the set designed by Omang Kumar is on the lines of the Oscars. “It’s a very stylish set. Just like in the Oscars ceremony, where trophies are given prominence, we have used huge trophies measuring about 45 feet, mosaic mirrors and wings to design the set. The colour scheme is white and gold,” says Kumar, who has erected the set in 22 days.

Performances by topline Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who incidentally are contenders for the Best Actor (Male) and (Female) respectively were the part of the grand show. Harshal and Vitthal, the winning team of Dance Premiere League choreograped the dances for Kareena and Bipasha Basu. Bipasha did a carnival act and danced to all her hit tracks including from All The Best. Kareena, gyrated to her numbers from Kurbaan and Kambakkht Ishq with an angelic look.

Katrina, who’s was on a winning spree with three hits in a row,performed to a catchy number from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Shahid Kapoor grooved to the beats of his chart-buster Dhan te nan from Kaminey. That Shahid is a ace dancer is common knowledge but this year he marked his debut as a host. At the backstage he confessed with a grin;

I feel nervous and excited because it’s the first time I will be hosting in front of a live audience
