Behind the scenes of Peepli [Live]

Aamir Khan Productions in association with UTV Motion Picture present upcoming film PEEPLI [LIVE], a satire on the farmers’ suicides and subsequent media and political response.Written & directed by Anusha Rizvi, PEEPLI [LIVE] is her directorial debut. The cast of PEEPLI [LIVE] was selected after an extensive and exhaustive casting process. Legendary Indian theatre director Habib Tanvir’s Naya Theatre repertory provided the mainstay. This is the first feature film for most of the actors who appear in the film but several have a background in theatre.It stars Raghubir Yadav, Omkar Das Manikpuri, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Malaika Shenoy along with a number of newcomers. Actors Naseeruddin Shah and Aamir Bashir will be seen in an brief appearance.
