Sallu warns the media
Here’s ‘live’ proof of Aamir Khan’s dosts and yaars in B-town. For years we didn’t know of anything such as an Aamir Khan camp, well, at least it wasn’t publicly acknowledged. Now it’s for all to see.
This week, he hosted a private screening of Peepli Live for his filmi friends who turned up in a large force for the Khan. Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, who walked in with Sidhartha Mallya, Rajkumar Hirani, Anil Kapoor, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar, Kangna Ranaut and Atul Kulkarni among many others. Rani still seemed as close to her ‘guru’ (yes, that’s what she called AK in an interview) as she’s been for years. In fact, Kiran Rao and she were chatting up like buddies.
Of course, she smartly dodged the plea for ‘bytes’ that were thrown at her by the media. The newsmaker on this list, and no prizes for guessing, was Salman Khan who turned up with his pretty co-star, Sonakshi. And he turned to the flashbulbs and said, “Go and watch this movie. It’s for you all (the media).” Aha Sallu, is that a warning? Even we have a bit of the dabangg spirit in us.
