Jacqueline in Murder 2

Mallika Sherawat, who sizzled in Murder in her two-pieces (strangely accepted as college-wear in the film) and hot smooches with Emraan Hashmi, will not have to hone her skills for the film’s sequel.

But the one replacing her is no kaccha limbu either.

Jacqueline Fernandes will step into Mallika’s shoes for Murder 2, a film based on the Nithari killings. Mukesh Bhatt told us, “The only criterion for the lead girl is that she has to be really sensuous.” Guess the hot Sri Lankan actress fits the bill.

Our source says, “If you think Murder was bold then Murder 2 will be the baap of that. Jacqueline will be seen in a super sexy avatar in this one.

The role was offered to a lot of actresses but they turned it down for various reasons. But Jacqueline who was quite thrilled with it, grabbed it readily even though her good friends Ritesh Deshmukh and Sajid Khan advised her not to.” Guys, a woman’s gotta do what a woman’s gotta do!

While not confirming the story, Mahesh Bhatt says, “We have been meeting a lot of actresses including Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat and Sonal Chauhan. I was keen to have Mallika but it didn’t work out.

Even with Bipasha there were some issues. Mohit Suri is a very hard to please director. He is not able to make up his mind about the heroine.” Neither Jacqueline nor Mallika reverted to our messages.

Wonder if Mallika is having second thoughts about giving up the coveted role…
