Making Of Vouge: Behind the scenes with Kapoor Family
Another highlight of the Vogue India’s October issue is a colossal portrait of the Kapoor Khandaan — the first family of Bollywood. Iona Fergusson Vogue India’s Photo Editor puts together a timeless collection of photographs from across generations of the family including the last pictures of Shammi Kapoor before he bid us adieu.
A newspaper reported on April 17 that Rishi and Neetu Kapoor were in Los Angeles to attend a festival on Indian films, but just a day before leaving for LA, the whole family including Ranbir Kapoor shot for Vogue India at Mehboob Studios. Photographer R Burman shot with the entire Kapoor clan, including Ranbir’s grand mom Krishna Raj Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Aditya Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor’s son was also there. All the members of the family were impeccably dressed in whites and off-whites. Interestingly, while all of them were seen walking in and out of the studio and the trailer van.
Check out the magazine scans of Kapoor family on the October 2011 issue of Vogue India magazine. We don’t get to see all the Kapoors in a single frame and it’s indeed a golden photo shoot. Take a look.
