Clicked: Aamir Celebrates His 47th Birthday With Media
Aamir Khan, who just turned 47 today (on March 14th), has celebrated his birthday with the media at his Bandra home. He invited the press to his house and cut the cake in their presence. He also used the occasion to apologize to his fans for delaying Talaash (yesterday it was reported that Talaash was shifted from June 1st to November 30th and the fans were upset & angry over this delay).
He shared his thoughts about his upcoming television debut, Talaash & many other things during the time he spent with the media.
“I am very excited about my television debut. The Star team and I are trying to come up with something different. We have been working on it for the last two years. This is probably the most ambitious project of my career.” He said about his show.
As for Talaash he had this to say “Last month, a fire broke out on the sets of the TV show which caused some delay and this has directly impacted the film’s release. Talaash is very close to my heart. Its release has been postponed and will now release on November 30 or December 6. I don’t think I will be able to do justice to both at the same time. I have discussed this with Reema, (producers) Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, and they agreed. I am sure my fans won’t be disappointed, as we will try and make the film better. Also, fans who have been missing me will shortly see me on the small screen — it will be aired in a couple of months from now.”
Reporters asked about his dear friend Salman Khan as well, to which Aamir fondly said “I hope Salman falls in love soon but no one can force him.”
However, the delay of Talaash has fans still fretting on various social networking websites. They have also started making jokes on the delay and Khan’s inability to do multitasking – well one shouldn’t take his fans for granted!
