Shahrukh Khan cancels Eid release of Chennai Express for Salman Khan
Salman Khan has been ruling the Box office on Eid for many years now. All his super hit films like Dabangg, Bodyguard and the latest Ek Tha Tiger was released on Eid. It was revealed earlier that Salman Khan’s next Eid release Sher Khan had been kept on the back burner. So, Shahrukh Khan decided to release his upcoming film Chennai Express on Eid 2013.
Now, Salman Khan and brother Sohail Khan have decided to make the South blockbuster Brindavanam in Hindi and they have decided to release this film on EID 2013. When Shahrukh Khan came to know this, he postponed the release of Chennai Express. Shahrukh has decided to release his film two-three weeks after the Brindavanam remake. Trade analyst Taran Aarsh told a leading daily, “It would have been a very dangerous fight. The industry needs to co-exist. Don’t eat into each other’s share. I would say the same for Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar too (both slated to release on November 13).” So, do you agree with Taran Adarsh?
