Prakash Jha refuses to show Satyagraha to Anna Hazare
Prakash Jha has refused to show his upcoming film Satyagraha to Anna Hazare and team. The film starring Big B, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao is Jha’s ambitious project that is said to be based on the story of Anna Hazare and his fight against corruption.
While Big B is believed to be playing Anna himself, Ajay Devgn is reportedly playing the role of his former right hand man Arvind Kejriwal.
While the senior social activist has requested Jha to show him his film, the director has blatantly refused.
As told to media sources, Prakash Jha has refused to comment on his film or where it’s taken inspiration from. He further stated that everyone is free to go and watch the film on their own and that India is a free country and nothing can stop people from watching a film.
He also added that people speculated about Rajneeti too, which was assumed to be modelled on the life of Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi.
But with Prakash’s refusal, will this irk Anna Hazare’s supporters and will Satyagraha suffer as a result?
