Meet Ayesha De Vitre to whom Ranbir Kapoor can give his life for

Ranbir Kapoor is a mysterious personality. The Kapoor lad who infamously carries the tag of a Casanova, poured his heart out in an interview recently as he talked about the people he love, his vacation in Spain and many other things.

After answering a lot of questions about his secret vacation, his marriage plans, and the relationship he shares with his parents, Ranbir uttered a strange name when asked about the people he would give his life for.

When asked who Ranbir can give his life for, Ranbir said, “My family, Ayan, Katrina, as she is a very special person in my life, Rohit Dhawan, who I grew up with, and Aisha DeVitre.”

Now we all know that Ranbir is very close to ‘good friend’ Katrina Kaif but who is Ayesha DeVitre?

On a little digging we found out that Ayesha is Ranbir’s school friend and she is currently working as a hair stylist and a writer.

Read on to know more about Ranbir’s best friend and the relationship that they share.

Ayesha is a hair stylist and a writer by profession. She has done hair styling in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Jab We Met, Jaane Tu ..Ya Jaane Na, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Ayesha’s other best friends include Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik.
Interestingly, Avantika once was Ranbir’s alleged arm-candy. Ranbir was apparently smitten by then classmate Avantika Malik and would be seen hanging around the sets of the show, Just Mohabbat that starred Avantika. The two broke up and Avantika moved on to Imran.

In an interview a few years back, Ayesha revealed all about Ranbir to a leading website.
“I’ve known Ranbir for 17 years so to me, he’s family! We’ve practically grown up together and studied in Bombay Scottish School, where the two of us would constantly get ourselves into trouble. He was ‘filmy’ right from the day he was born. He would dance on stage during Christmas concerts and always participated in drama competitions. He would even incorporate movies into academics — every essay in his English grammar paper would be an entire Hindi movie screenplay summarized,” she said.

“Ranbir was also a little bit of a shehtaan — he played a million pranks, getting caught each time! He would steal mydabba and eat it for breakfast. He would also emotionally blackmail me into doing all his school projects. And he would study only two days before an examination and still pass each time. His idea of fun is to watch a Malayalam channel on mute while he would come up with his own dialogues. He also plays ‘Stone, paper, scissors’ with himself in the mirror so that he never loses,” she added.

“But for all his craziness, Ranbir takes a lot of time to open up to people. He’s extremely shy and reserved, but once you’ve entered his comfort zone you’re there to stay. He is a child at heart and I guess that’s what makes him so endearing. To the world, Ranbir’s an upcoming star but to me he’s already a winner. He’s my star,” Ayesha concluded.
