Sanjay Dutt gets 14-day parole on medical grounds
According to sources, the actor has left from Pune and is on his way to Mumbai to meet his family. Recently, Sanjay Dutt was also going to be part of a play in the jail, but his plans got canceled owing to security reasons.
The 53-year-old has been granted a 2-week furlough on medical grounds. Upon his arrival in Mumbai, Sanjay Dutt told the media persons that he will fully abide by the law of the land.
“I respect the law of the land. I respect the honourable courts of India. I am a law abiding citizen and will complete my parole and will report back,” Dutt said in Mumbai.
The actor requested the media for privacy in the coming days.
“I want to request to the press that I have got some time which I want to spend with my family. I thank the press for its support. Thanks to all my fans and I love my fans,” he added.
Dutt is said to be suffering from clots in his legs.
