I didn’t become a star through my hard work: Salman Khan
The 47-year-old actor said, ”Everyone goes through good times. The stardom is very good but it shouldn’t go to one’s head. One day everything will be gone. One should be able to handle that in a good way. The love, respect, adulation is very good but it can ruin people’s lives if one thinks that all this is permanent. It will hurt when stardom is gone. I don’t think I’ll see that day for years to come. But I’ll be ready when that day arrives.”
”I didn’t become a star through my hard work. I took birth in a family which was a part of this industry. By luck, I got this platform thanks to Sooraj Barjatya who gave me a break in MAINE PYAR KIYA. Luckily the film worked and I was known by the name Prem. I have no contribution in it,’ Salman Khan said during the trailer launch of JAI HO.
‘I had no intentions to be a star. I like to travel by rickshaw, cycle. I travel in an AC car with windows down. I try to remain normal. Whatever I am is because of my fans. I am enjoying my success and when I don’t have it, then also I will enjoy,’ he further said.
Directed by Sohail Khan, JAI HO is scheduled to release on 24th January, 2014.
