Rancho gone cuckoo – 2.5/5.0
Today is Dhoom day, announced the papers. When I walked out of the theatre, I felt like today is dooms day. Let’s see if the year ends with Dhoom or doom.
Dhoom Machale :
Uday Chopra – The only character that he plays it right all the time. He doesn’t disappoint with his last film . Farewell Uday ‘Dhoom’ Chopra
Katrina Kaif – naach gaane mein kamaal baaki sab bawaal
Sudeep Chatterjee – for making this long, ‘emotionally moving’ and ‘epic’ film look good.
Sanjay Gadhvi – “mere bina no dhoom machale “ – Sanjay Gadhvi in an imaginary thought bubble
Doom Machale :
Aamir Khan – The last time I saw him act this brilliantly was 13 years back in Mela. He was not able to match up or better the standard Hrithik set with the previous film. This is Rancho(3 idiots) gone cuckoo (wink wink)
Abhishek Bachchan – Poor guy gets to make an entry in an auto rickshaw while Aamir gets to do it on a BMW bike. Not fair.
Twist in the tale – Because I guessed it minutes into the film. Look ma I am smart.
Vijay Krishna Acharya – By trying to make this an emotional drama he robs of the film of it’s fun quotient. It’s hard to believe that he has written the earlier two Dhoom’s.
Ciimax scene – Takes ‘keep the logic aside’ to a different level.
Word of mouth – Dhoom 3 is Doom Machale.
Rating – ** ½ ( Won’t Kill You)
Ticket Meter – worth 200 bucks
