Aamir Khan writes a letter to the Election Commission against Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP
Of late, many Bollywood stars have begun to support some political party or the other, or even contest for the elections, but unlike most of them, the thinking Khan doesn’t wish to get involved in politics.
These days, Aamir is, reportedly, upset with Aap (Aam Admi Party) as his picture is being used to promote the party. Hence Aamir has written a letter to the election commission clarifying that he is not endorsing any particular political party after he was brought to notice that there is a social campaign doing the rounds that Aamir Khan is supporting AAP.
The source further says, “Lots of candidates of Aap have used Twitter to create an impression that Aamir has been endorsing Aam Aadmi Party. The actor has now written to the election commission to take immediate action on the same as this has been done without his consent. Mr.Khan does not want his name to be misused like this.”
When Daily Bhaskar contacted Aamir Khan, his spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “Aamir Khan, from day one, has made it clear that he will not be endorsing a particular political party. He is not supporting or campaigning for any political party.”
