Movie Review: Kochadaiiyaan (2014)
Kochadaiiyaan movie is based on Pandiyan king Kochadaiyan Ranadhiran (710-735 A.D). Superstar Rajini plays three roles as Kochadaiyaan, Raana and Sena. Kochadaiiyaan is an epic dramatization of good versus evil.
The citizens of the kingdom ruled by the senior Rajinikanth have nothing to worry in life and are enjoying all the pleasures under the sun. The king now becomes a victim of a plot hatched by one of his own men (Jackie Shroff), who plays the kingpin in the plot.
After ditching out the senior Rajinikanth, there is a fight for the power between Jackie Shroff and Nassar. This war doesn’t end here as Sarath Kumar, Aadhi and junior Rajinikanth take the rivalry to the next level.
Now, Raana whose father was wrongfully brought down, has to win his kingdom back and he wants to end the misrule. Rajinikanth valiantly fights against his enemies and lives for the people. His love interest is Vadhana Devi played by Deepika Padukone. How Raana and Sena defeats the enemy and gets his kingdom is rest of the story which leads to the climax.
