Deepika Padukone starrer Finding Fanny Fernandes eyeing for an international premiere
Deepika Padukone is on a roll. If bagging plum roles in a row in Bollywood was not enough, this beauty is now set to go international with her upcoming film Finding Fanny Fernandes. Buzz has it that filmmaker Homi Adajania’s next project featuring Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles will have a premiere at Toronto International Film Festival. The plot of the film revolves around a man who is in search of his childhood friend Stephanie aka Fanny in Goa. The film is going to be based on a road trip.
According to a leading daily, the makers of the film are eyeing Toronto Film Festival to give the film an international premiere. The film festival is slated to start on September 4. It has also been learnt that the makers have roped in Fox Star Studios to release the film internationally. Finding Fanny Fernandes is a satirical film in English/Konkani, and now the makers are also working on developing a Hindi version of the same. The film has been produced by Illuminati Films, a production company helmed by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan.
