Black buck poaching case: No special treatment for Salman Khan, final hearing on October 14
SC criticised the order of Rajasthan High Court suspending Khan’s conviction in the case.
The actor had filed an affidavit in SC on August 27 appealing for the stay on his conviction in the black buck killing case.
The Supreme Court said that “Law should be the same for all citizen, if such a practice is followed, convicts will go to court and seek relaxation.” The final disposal date of hearing is October 14, 2014.
Salman Khan has been accused of killing the black bucks during the shooting of movie ‘Hum Saath Sath hain’ in October 1998. The black buck is a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act.
