Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay LEAKED, courtesy Kamaal R Khan!
In the wake of 27th October, i.e. a day before the release of Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, self proclaimed film critic KRK has done some mischief to get back at Devgn! Well, with two big movies clashing at the box office, you wouldn’t really want any spoilers, not at least before the release for the would totally ruin the competition. But looks like Kamaal K Khan wants to make the release bad for Ajay as he has leaked the film! Oh yes. That’s taking things a bit too far, don’t you think? Although he did delete the tweets later but we got screenshots of his deed and we’ve attached it right HERE so check out this man’s mischief.
Obviously the producers are not going to take it easy now as this will affect the box office and opening collections of the film. You might be wondering how he managed to leak the film even before the release. After talking to Shibasish Sarkar, COO Reliance Entertainment, we found out the trick he used which calls for some serious piracy issues and cyber crime.
Sarkar told us, “What has happened is that, you know in the middle east the films open one day before, KRK has started to copy the film from inside the cinema and has started putting those videos. We are taking strict legal action and filing a complaint with the cyber crime in Mumbai. We have also written to all the social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too coz when any kind of piracy happens, we take stringent action including criminal action.” This is a major piracy and cyber crime calamity that has befallen on Shivaay. Taking videos from inside the theatre and putting it up on one’s social media accounts calls for some serious legal actions on the said person. Well, KRK brought this on himself!
As soon as the makers found out about KRK’s piracy mischief, they immediately took screenshots of the same. Lucky for them as Khan deleted the tweets from his Twitter handle. Maybe he realised his folly but looks like he was a little late. Sarkar further stated, “Yes, we have taken all the video screenshots, so there is proof that he has been videotaping from inside the hall. We have traced the hall in Dubai also and we have started to take action against the theatre owners also and we have asked them how someone is taking video from inside the hall. We have proof that he had started pirating the film from inside the hall.” Many films release in Dubai, a day prior to their release dates in India. A lot of times, this results in piracy and hampers the box office status of films here in India. The reviews from Middle East help people prepare themselves for what to expect and what not to from the film.
Of course, the makers aren’t going to go easy on Kamaal R Khan. Sarkar has assured that actions will be taken against KRK, “In any country where the laws are stringent, the people go behind bars. So definitely a film made with a year of effort and money of investors, we should take strict action against any kind of piracy. It happens regularly these days and hence we will take very strict action.” It is believed that Kamaal’s this act of piracy could be a result of the fallout Ajay and he had when Shivaay’s producer and KRK’s phone call audio got leaked. In the audio, Khan had clearly stated how he has been paid to badmouth about Devgn’s film by competitor Karan Johar, whose Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is also releasing on the same day. It was a nasty scenario and while it got a lot of attention, the controversy soon died down. But the retaliation to the incident of the past by conducting piracy 48 hours prior to the film’s release is just absurd.
